Sneak Peek: Wooden Trunk Refab

I recently went yard sale hunting with my friend/my hubby’s coworker, Beth. We were champs and hit up about eight or so community garages sales. We filled our entire truck — it was epic.

One of the treasures I picked up was this ugly little trunk. It was $3 and the perfect project. The hubby and I are in desperate need of a new save box, and this gem will do the trick perfectly once it’s finished.

It’s pretty atrocious as is, all blue, pink, chipped and nasty.

But I have big plans for this baby. I spent the evening priming it white.

Looks better already, huh?

Check back later this week to see how I finish the trunk!

  1. Hey I really appreciate your efforts. You have done really a great job. When it was blue, it was so horrible. When I saw it for the very first time, I thought what is it? But when I scrolled down, I was amazed! It’s really a good painting with white. Moreover, I also furnished my house with white painted furniture because, white is a color of peace and it makes a room brighter and bigger and I think you already proved that by your post. Anyway, I am waiting for your finished work.
