Have I mentioned recently that my bestie is an amazing baker extraordinaire? Checks blog archives…. nope! Anyway, we celebrated my dad’s 50th birthday this past weekend and were lucky to have some scrumptious treats courtesy of Dana.
She made the most amazing cake modeled after Bruce Springsteen’s Born in the USA album cover.
The cake read “Happy 50th Birthday. You’re the Boss!” It was perfect.
GAH! She’s so freaking talented.
In addition to the cake, she also brought over some of her delicious truffles. Her flavors of the month are Peanut Butter Banana and Coconut Lime. Mmmmm…
